What The Avengers Roster Will Look Like In Secret Wars

The MCU blew the roof off of Comic-Con this year with the announcement of their entire Phase 5 slate, as well as huge Phase 6 Announcements. It all culminated in Kevin Feige announcing what we’ve long suspected, that Secret Wars will be the final chapter in this Multiversal Saga. That’s huge news! But now the question becomes, what state will our Avengers find themselves in during Secret Wars? And who will officially be on the team?

I think the Avengers Roster is going to be insane for Secret Wars. I imagine that the movie will blend elements from the original Secret Wars 80s arc and the more modern 2015 one. The 2015 one makes more sense as it deals with the multiverse collapsing, but I do think that they could have Kang fill the Beyonder role from the first arc. That means for a story, I think we’re going to have a lot of different teams and setups in this movie. I think there will be groups of Avengers clustered together to accomplish their own tasks. To me, that’s the only way you can squeeze all these characters in a movie and have it work. So that’s why I envision there to be things like a main Avenger team with Captain America, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, etc., a secondary team consisting of more street level heroes like Daredevil, Spider-Man and She-Hulk, as well as a Space Avengers with Captain Marvel and Thor. All that, plus a lot more!
