10 Times Iron Man Was The Villain

Tony Stark has gone from weapon manufacturer to a one man army trying to undo the damage that his weapons have done. It’s a noble goal, but you can’t just undo a lifetime of just doing whatever you want and not really having to deal with the consequences. One of the Marvel Universe's best engineers, Stark has become accustomed to being able to buy or build his way out of problems. When he gets on the superhero stage the stakes can be a little higher. Even our regular 616 Tony Stark has had his moments where either his good intentions have ill effects or with the slightest bit of nudging ended up as an actual villain including using an app to addict people to a $100 a day drug as Superior Iron Man. He’s found himself under the influence of Kang as Immortus or just under the influence of his suit itself. Sometimes that takes the form of the suit merging with Tony to help him or hurt him, it ultimately doesn’t make any difference. Even when in different realities where Tony Stark happens at different times Tony is prone to good intentions having bad results. Tony has not been immune from becoming corrupted and enticed by power including misusing an Infinity Gem and even managed to do what most supervillains can’t, conquer the world.
