There are a lot of beings of unimaginable power lurking around the Marvel Universe with grand ambitions. The one thing that all of them share in common, in some way there’s a Doctor Doom out there trying to figure out how to take that power and add it to his own. This is in spite of Doom already possessing three of the more effective powers. First, of course, he was a big ol’ brain, recognized as a peer to Reed Richards, the man who would self label as the “smartest man on Earth”. He’s not just rich, he’s ‘hereditary monarch of a country’ rich. And then there’s the sorcery, because Victor von Doom doesn’t believe in leaving stones unturned in his quest for ultimate power. That "enough is never enough" attitude has led to the Latvarian leader to drain the powers of some of Marvel’s most powerful beings to cause havoc, usually only undone by his own hubris. He’s grabbed the powers of the Scarlet Witch and Stephen Strange to up his magic game allowing him to take on the likes of Mephisto and Dormammu. He’s even played a bit of one-upmanship with Marvel’s master engineer Tony Stark, upgrading one of Starks already most advanced suits of Iron Man armor.
