Happy Holidays from CBR to all of you out there! With the release of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, we thought it would be fun to talk about a very famous figure that happens to be a mutant in Marvel Comics. Santa Claus is not just a mutant in Marvel lore, but he is also the most powerful mutant out there. In a holiday-themed X-Men comic book, Cerebro notifies the team that it has found a mutant, and it also happens to be the strongest mutant in the world. Who would have thought that the man who delivers presents to boys and girls around the globe is an omega-level mutant?
Santa Claus has plenty of powers in the Marvel Universe. Some of them relate to his job as the man in the big red coat, and others are more superhero related. Regardless, he certainly deserves the title of Marvel’s strongest mutant. Villains better think twice about what they do leading up to Christmas with Santa Claus running around. There's no telling what he'll do to them if they get caught.
