On today's IGN The Fix: Games, Nintendo takes center stage! A new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 gameplay trailer was revealed during today's Nintendo Direct at E3 2021 - the first since its original announcement in 2019. The beautiful new gameplay trailer also gave us a release window of 2022 and a glimpse at some of Link's new abilities. The big announcements don't stop there as Nintendo announced a new 2D Metroid game, Metroid Dread, along with an October 2021 release date. The suspenseful trailer is packed with a variety of threats, both biological and robotic, that appear relentless in their pursuit of Samus.
