In LEGO Super Mario you have to build levels for LEGO Mario to complete, collecting as many coins as you can before the timer runs out. Every LEGO Super Mario journey begins with either the Adventures with Mario or Adventures with Luigi Starter Course.

Mario’s starter course comes with the start pipe, gooma, goal pole, Bowser Jr. and question block, Luigi’s starter course has a spinning seesaw, Pink Yoshi, Boom Boom and Bone Goomba figures, start pipe and goal pole.

LEGO Super Mario expansion sets released so far include Guarded Fortress Expansion Set, Desert Pokey Expansion Set, Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set, Mario’s House & Yoshi Expansion set, Toad’s Treasure Hunt Expansion Set, Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set, Thwomp Drop Expansion Set, King Boo and the Haunted Yard Expansion Set, Chain Chomp Jungle Encounter Expansion Set, Piranha Plant Puzzling Challenge Expansion Set, Wiggler’s Poison Swamp Expansion Set, Boss Sumo Bro Topple Tower Expansion Set, Lakitu Sky World Expansion Set, Reznor Knockdown Expansion Set, Bowser’s Airship Expansion Set, Boomer Bill Barrage Expansion Set, Whomp’s Lava Trouble Expansion Set and the Master Your Adventure Maker Set.

Coming in 2022, Luigi gets expansion sets devoted to Luigi’s Mansion including Luigi’s Mansion Lab and Poltergust Expansion Set, Luigi’s Mansion Haunt-and-Seek Expansion Set and Luigi’s Mansion Entryway Expansion Set. Other new lets include Dorrie’s Beachfront Expansion Set, Big Urchin Beach Ride Expansion Set, Bowser Jr.’s Clown Car Expansion Set and Series 4 character packs, collect 10 characters Galoomba, Parachute Bob-omb, Boo, Crowber, Amp, Torpedo Ted, Bony Beetle, 1-Up Mushroom, Scuttlebug and a Swoop.

Both the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Mario 64 Question Block sets feature LEGO Mario compatibility for added visuals and sound effects. New LEGO Super Mario sets launch on 1st January 2022.
