She-Hulk Episode 2 does a lot of heavy lifting in referencing the wider MCU, but does the episode tease a major Marvel Mutant character? Also who is finally talking about the Celestial sticking out of the ocean and where the heck is Hulk headed now? Join IGN’s Kim Horcher for the breakdown.
She-Hulk is paving the way for the future of Marvel, quietly that is. She Hulk episode 2 answers even more questions and teases the future for major characters well beyond anything you’ve seen in any She-Hulk trailer. As for what Marvel has planned, very interesting Hulk comic runs may be on the way, if what we see in the She-Hulk series means what we think it means. The She-Hulk easter eggs may be some of the best in the MCU shows, with She-Hulk episode 2 hitting huge. The Disney+ series even calls out that it was not always Mark Ruffalo in the role of Bruce Banner; She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is proving to be the most cheeky shoe on Disney plus thus far. Does one single shot spell the future of the MCU? What’s next for The Avengers? Is the lens now squarely through She-Hulk? Disney Plus hasn’t clearly released what’s next, but you can bet we haven’t seen the last of Abomination (Tim Roth), even if it’ll be a while until we spot Bruce Banner (Ruffalo) again soon. Could She-Hulk Episode 2 contain hints of dare we ask, World War Hulk, or even take us back to Sakaar? Abomination seems to be the focus on earth for Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), but the show is giving glimpses of what’s beyond She-Hulk (Wolverine, anyone?) That’s right, we may have our first step for Wolverine, we said it. Not to mention, real answers for our thought-forgotten friend, Eternals’ “celestial in Earth” half-sticking out of the ocean from the end of Eternals. It may seem weird but yes, we are getting a ton of answers in She-Hulk, Celestial ocean problem included! We’ve got a ton of easter eggs, what they mean, and how significant they are, right here!
