Star Wars: Andor on Disney+ couldn't be more different from the recent crop of Star Wars shows, and that's why it's exactly what the franchise needs right now. While the likes of The Mandalorian and Obi-Wan Kenobi are heavily steeped in the lore of the Skywalker Saga and feature links to iconic characters and plot lines, this new Rogue One prequel is far removed from all that.
