It's difficult to narrow down the best television series in a year that's absolutely packed with incredible contenders, but at the end of the day it's nearly impossible to bet against Andor.
While many came into the series with concerns over a prequel for a prequel, Andor has upped Star Wars' game at nearly every turn. From the complicated drama of the senate to the nitty gritty issues of planets on the outer rim, the series gives us our first real look at the rebellion in its infancy. In a series so rooted in the black and white views of the Jedi and the Sith, Andor gives a look at the messy, complicated, and morally grey areas of a resistance taking root against what seems to be an unbeatable force.
