In today's Daily Fix:
Resident Evil 4 Remake has been updated with the new Mercenaries mode...but also with some paid DLC. And not the good kind where you get story content or something. Unfortunately Capcom seems to be going the pay-to-win route with the ability to buy tickets with real money that let you upgrade your weapons in the game. Bummer. But what's not a bummer are RE4 Remake's sales numbers. It's now the second fastest-selling RE game after Resident Evil 6. And speaking of sales numbers, the retro compilation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection has sold 1 million copies, no doubt thanks to nostalgia-starved millenials and Gen X'ers who have fond memories of playing the originals. And it's a really good set, despite the online multiplayer issues. In other news, Sony is patenting a new controller that can change temperature. And if that's not weird enough, this new controller may also be...moldable? Like it could be made of something like magnetic fluid or similar material so it can be shaped in your hand. Crazy times. And finally, Star Wars Celebration is well underway in the U.K., and we can expect a final Jedi: Survivor trailer this weekend! Stay tuned to IGN for more Star Wars news.
