Sometime in the early 2000s, director Christopher Nolan was looking for someone to play Bruce Wayne in his 2005 film, Batman Begins. While the role went to Christian Bale, he met with various young actors to potentially take the part, including Irish actor, Cillian Murphy. Two decades later, Murphy is the lead in Christopher Nolan's new movie, Oppenheimer. We spoke to both Nolan and Murphy to find out more about how a failed Batman audition led to a lifelong partnership.
