5 Star Wars Characters We Need in Live-Action (And 1 We Don’t)

Ahsoka marks a major milestone as Ahsoka Tano, a non-film character, will have her own Star Wars series. The Ahsoka trailer gave us glimpses of the similarly elevated Thrawn character, in live action on Disney Plus, along with fellow Rebels star Sabine Wren. The Lucasfilm Disney+ landmark led by Rosario Dawson, joins the returns of characters like Boba Fett and Luke Skywalker, but who could be the next character to get the Ahsoka treatment and leap to live action?

Should Doctor Aphra’s titular Dr. Aphra (Star Wars comics) make her debut? What about Merrin and Cal Kestis from Star Wars video games?Kylr Katarn? Starkiller? (NOT  Starkiller base, the Sam Witwer version), Darth Revan from KOTOR? Star Wars is rife with candidates. Like the case of Merrin, Star Wars has never deeply explored such a unique set of abilities as those of Merrin, Nightsister of Dathomir. That said, Star Wars video games are filled with amazing choices from Jedi:Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor to Battlefront 2 and the different modes of Star Wars Battlefront 2, to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Is the world even ready for a canon Starkiller though?
