Elly Conway (Bryce Dallas Howard) is the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels. She loves spending her nights at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie, but when the plots of her fictional books—which center on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate—begin to mirror the actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past. Joined by a cat-allergic spy called Aiden (Sam Rockwell), Elly and Alfie race across the world to stay one step ahead of the killers as the lines between Elly’s fictional world and her real one begin to blur.
Directed and produced by Matthew Vaughn, Argylle's screenplay is by Jason Fuchs. The film is also produced by Adam Bohling, Jason Fuchs, and David Reid. Its executive producers are Adam Fishbach, Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, and Claudia Vaughn.
Argylle arrives in US theaters and UK cinemas on February 2, 2024.
