Transformers One Cast On Living Up To The 80s Cartoon | Comic Con 2024

Transformers One chronicles the origin story of Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Bumblebee as they grow into their powers and live out their lives as worker bots on Cybertron. Chris Hemsworth (Optimus Prime/Orion Pax), Brian Tyree Henry (Megatron/D-16), and Keegan-Michael Key (Bumblebee/B127) join IGN at San Diego Comic Con to discuss the new Paramount Transformers movie, honoring longtime voice actors like Peter Cullen and Frank Welker. 

Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, will likely see his friendship with Megatron fracture in the new Transformers movie. The description of the official trailer reads: 

“TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi with Laurence Fishburne and Jon Hamm.”
