"Descensus" is a challenging action RPG set in a post-catastrophe dieselpunk world, where players embark on a perilous journey into the mysterious Rift of the Fallen Star. As a Seeker, your mission is to halt the anomaly's expansion before it engulfs the entire world. The game features a demanding combat system that combines melee and ranged weapons, requiring strategic mastery to overcome formidable foes. Players can customize their characters by choosing from predefined classes and developing unique builds through the collection of meteor spores, which grant extraordinary abilities. Exploration is key, with diverse biomes and dungeons offering a variety of challenges and secrets to uncover. Death is not the end in "Descensus"; instead, it serves as a learning experience, allowing players to adapt and refine their strategies. The game is currently in Early Access, with plans to expand the single-player campaign and introduce cooperative multiplayer modes.
