In this snippet from Podcast Beyond 912, When people talk about difficult games, FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki’s punishing Dark Souls games are some of the first brought up, but compared to the likes of QWOP and Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy, they’re a walk in the park. We had the chance to chat with Bennett’s newest project, Baby Steps, which is quite literally a walk in the park, but unlike most games people would describe as a “walking simulator” it’s sure to be quite an uphill battle. We discuss some of the challenges, inspirations and unusual activities waiting for players in Baby Steps.
