The Open international architectural and urban planning competition for the development of the master plan of the Grozny city of the Chechen Republic, Russian Federation started.
Grozny is the capital of the Chechen Republic, one of the most dynamically developing cities in the North Caucasus.
It is a place where carefully preserved traditions meet new technologies and a desire for the future.
The decision to hold a competition to develop the master plan of Grozny reflected a new stage in the development of the city and the entire Republic.
The initiator of the Competition – Mayor’s Office of the Grozny city with the support of the Government of the Chechen Republic and the major Russian financial institute in the field of development DOM.RF.
Organizing Committee – Agency for strategic development "CENTER”, analytical and consulting company working in the field of development, urban planning and urban science.
