Today my heart is filled with gratitude for my mom. ❤️
She is a mother of 9 children and grandmother to 28 grandchildren, yet somehow she has always made every one of us feel deeply loved, seen, and cared for.
From childhood, she didn’t just teach us Faith (literally her name) — she lived by example. She planted in us the love for God, compassion for people, and the understanding that faith must remain strong in every season of life.
Growing up in Ukraine, we learned the value of hard work through her hands. Together we worked in the gardens and fields, preparing food for the long winter months. At the time it felt difficult, but today I realize those moments built character, unity, gratitude, and strength inside all of us.
One of the most beautiful things about my mom is the way she connects with children. Through her storytelling, singing, kindness, and warmth, she creates an atmosphere where people feel peace and joy around her.
But above all, the greatest quality my mother carries is her genuine trust in the Lord in every situation. Through hardships, uncertainty, and challenges, she always remained calm in faith, teaching us that God is faithful no matter what.
This song, “С первых дней счастливого мгновенья,” was performed by all the siblings together — singing and playing instruments — at mom’s 70th birthday celebration. It was our small way of honoring the woman who gave so much of herself for all of us.
