The Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2014 is the national selection of Malta to find the song that will represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark in May 2014.
20 contestants and voices competed in the Semi Final at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre (MFCC). 14 of the songs advanced to the Grand Final which took place on Saturday 08 February 2014. The Winner got the ticket to Copenhagen to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The Team of Radio International was on location interviewing the contestants and presenters.
The night after the Grand Final, The Malta Music Awards were staged at the same venue, and it was there that we spoke to Malta's 2002 Eurovision representative, and co-host of MESC 2014, Ira Losco, just after she had received no less than three trophies at the Awards Ceremony.
