In 2017 'Love and Mercy' was remastered for the release of ‘Playback: The Brian Wilson Anthology'--the first ever Brian Wilson solo compilation--and featured alongside 17 other remastered versions of the Beach Boys' co-founder's recordings, including ‘Surf’s Up,’ ‘Soul Searchin’, and the previously unreleased ‘Some Sweet Day’ and ‘Run James Run.’
