Christoffer Collins will represent Sweden in Eurovision Young Dancers 2017.
Chris is a renowned street dancer with a decade of ballet training behind him. He’s a stage veteran at the young age of 18 and has appeared in theatre and opera, as well as on TV and music videos. Chris made both his stage and TV debut at the age of five, and by the age of ten, he was enrolled in the Royal Swedish Ballet School. At the age of 11 he was placed third in Swedens got talent and by the age of 12 his talent had been spotted overseas and he was invited to audition for The National Ballet School of Canada. He did and was accepted. He didn’t, however, leave Stockholm.
Over the years Chris has worked close with major choreographers such as Swedish dancing sensation Fredrik ”Benke” Rydman, former member of renowned dance group ’Bounce’ as well as taking classes for dancers such as Nick Demoura, Keone & Mariel Madrid (who’ve worked together with Justin Bieber). Chris has toured all over the world with his dancing, choreographed and performed in music videos for artists such as Swedish artist Wiktoria and Sabina Ddumba, as well as having made an appearance as a speaker at Symposium in Stockholm, an event celebrating nordic creatives and the impact Sweden has done to the rest of the world, organised by Spotify founder Daniel Ek and Ash Pournouri, the former manager of Avicii.
