Stand By Me by Ben E. King is a timeless R&B anthem originally recorded and co-composed by Ben E. King in 1961 and covered countless times since. It was featured prominently in the 1986 movie Stand By Me starring the late River Phoenix, and performed at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by Karen Gibson and the Kingdom Choir.

In 2015, Stand By Me was inducted into the Library of Congress National Recording Registry in recognition of cultural, artistic, and historical significance to American society.
