Aveiro is known for its Ria (estuary), that crosses the city with a network of canals.
HOW TO GET THERE:
Less than one hour south of Porto Airport, along A1, Portugal’s main motorway. Buses and trains are also available.
WHAT TO DO?
Take a tour in the traditional moliceiro boats along the city canals and delight your eyes with Art Nouveau style buildings.
WHAT NOT TO MISS?
Ovos moles, a sweet made with eggs and sugar, typical of Aveiro.
