"When I met first met the incredible Erin McCarley, it was a few days after another notable harassment scandal had surfaced. As we sat in the studio, getting to know each other and seeing where our lives intersected, this epidemic of abuse came up as a topic. Erin sat down at the piano and began this musical conversation about how its only a matter of time before one’s bad choices catch up with them. She sang the first few lines and we unraveled the rest for the next few hours. Haunting piano chords and an almost accusatory stance, this song is about the clock running out on all the evil in the world."
