You heard the Earth shake a bit when Clipse dropped its 'Lord Willin'' album back in 2002, didn't ya? It was a big one, and the work Pusha T and No Malice did with Pharrell Williams is gonna last a couple lifetimes. So's the strong stuff the Bronx-born, Virginia-raised MC has made on his own - ever since 'My Name Is My Name' arrived under the GOOD Music banner, the company that King Push is now the president of. In May he dropped his latest disc, DAYTONA, a collab with his business partner and creative brother, Kanye West. The pair worked on it in Wyoming, and as you might expect, Ye had a unique production process. In our exclusive interview, we take Pusha T to Staten Island to get his POV on a key influence, Raekwon's 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx..." See what he says about Shaolin culture, 'The Purple Tape' and how the classics shaped the feel of the tracks on 'DAYTONA.'
