Tune in again.” These words written in the liner notes of his debut album in 1979 very eloquently explain Cameron’s first steps toward taking his place among the extravagantly dressed funk titans of the time (I.e. Bootsy Collins and George Clinton.) His third album Concerned Party #1 (1980) is a terrifically crafted and performed funk record, all the while remaining accessible and fun. Daryl Cameron is a musician and singer from Chicago Illinois, born July 10, 1957.
