Welcome to Eurovision This Week! This is your update of the 5th of March.
After Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC was unable to come to an agreement with the top 3 from their national selection they have unfortunately decided to withdraw from the competition this year.
Belgium released Eliot's song 'Wake Up' on Thursday. It was a true super Saturday with 5 national finals taking place all over Europe. First to chose it's entry was Finland. Darude feat. Sebastian Rejman will perform Look Away in Tel Aviv. In Iceland, Hatari won with the song Hatrið mun sigra. Norwegian final Melodi Grand Prix was won by KEiiNO with the song Spirit In The Sky. In Portugal, Conan Osíris won with the song Telemóveis. Moldova will send Anna Odobescu to Tel Aviv with the song 'Stay'.
On Sunday, Serbia and Georgia chose their participants for Tel Aviv. Georgian Idol was won by Oto Nemsadze and in Serbia Beovizija was won by Nevena Božović.
