Welcome to Eurovision This Week. This is your update of the 16th of April.

Lots of details about the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest were announced yesterday during a press conference in Tel Aviv.

The Eurovision Song Contest will see many guest stars including last years winner Netta, last years runner up Eleni Foureira and Eurovision stars Måns Zelmerlöw, Conchita, Verka Serduchka and Dana International.

The orange carpet event of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest will take place on Habima square in Tel Aviv.

During their postcard shoot in Israel, Mahmood from Italy and Chingiz from Azerbaijan met each other for the first time.

Roko from Croatia and Oto Nemsadze from Georgia released their music videos this week.

Conan Osiris from Portugal received the Revelation Artist Award at the Play - Portuguese Music Awards.

On Friday, the official album of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest was released. You can download or stream the album via your favourite music service, or purchase the CD in the Eurovision Shop.

KEiiNO from Norway and Carousel from Latvia met in Riga for the Riga Eurovision Pre-Party. On Sunday, 18 participants travelled to the United Kingdom for the London Eurovision Party. Next weekend, the promo tour continues in Madrid.
