Rayland Baxter remembers the exact moment he heard Mac Miller for the first time. It was after his own set at the 2016 Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in Florida when he followed a crowd to the main stage and witnessed Miller's stage magic. Now, the singer/songwriter has released a tribute EP to the late rapper, good mmornin, which he dropped on July 26.
Baxter sat down with the Recording Academy to share more on the impact Miller left on him and also gets into Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and why the Newport Folk Festival is special to him.
