You may have noticed a few new murals pop up around the Twin Cities lately. Perhaps you've seen Paul Bunyan and Babe's take on Say Anything? Or maybe you've spotted the Lake Minnetonka tribute to Prince's Purple Rain motorcycle?

The Current has teamed up with artist Dan "Dusty Signs" Madsen, a third generation sign painter born and raised in Minneapolis, to produce works of art across the Twin Cities combining memorable Minnesota music moments with local icons and references. This time-lapse tracks the mural painting process on the side of the Café 128 food-truck.

Through these murals and its programming, The Current strives to engage listeners and encourage Minnesota spirit by embracing the thriving Minnesota arts community.
