In 1978, noted studio musician trumpeter Jon Faddis, who had produced some memorable jazz over the years, released his third studio album “Good & Plenty”. One such recording was "Disco Inferno" with the Players Association in which he plays trumpet recorded in 1977 on the LP "Born to Dance". Faddis appeared on many pop recordings in the late 1970s and early 1980s where he gained his inspiration for his then upcoming albums. “Good & Plenty” is packed with waves of synthesizers, new age guitars, and disco, this makes for a jazz album that’s ahead of its time.
