In late May, Tyler, The Creator’s latest album, ‘IGOR,’ edged out DJ Khaled’s ‘Father of Asahd’ for No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The runner-up finish didn’t sit well with Khaled, who is allegedly planning a lawsuit against ‘Billboard’ over album bundles he thinks were improperly disqualified from his sales figures. To discuss the albums and the larger issue of sales in the music industry, Genius’ Head of Artist Relations Rob Markman hosted a panel featuring Naji Grampus, manager of Urban Sales and Marketing and Promotion at Sony Music, and Eb the Celeb, a media personality, playlist curator, and strategist, on the latest episode of ‘For The Record.’
