BROCKHAMPTON has been redefining what it means to be a self-described “boyband” since the release of their first project 'ALL-AMERICAN TRASH' in 2016. The Los Angeles-based hip-hop group was first recruited in 2009 by Texas rapper and creative director Kevin Abstract on the popular Kanye West forum, KanyeToThe. They were initially called AliveSinceForever and became BROCKHAMPTON in 2014, which is the name of Abstract’s childhood street.
