After a nearly decade hiatus, The Black Eyed Peas returned last month with their politically charged single “STREET LIVIN'” Although the group shared a remix of their popular hit “Where Is The Love?” in 2016, the last album they dropped was 2010’s 'The Beginning.' “Street Livin'” is produced by Keith Harris and will.i.am, and features verses from Will, Taboo, and apl.de.ap (Fergie is taking a break from the group to promote her solo album).
Taboo explained that the song reflects themes and sentiments found in their Marvel graphic novel 'Masters of the Sun: The Zombie Chronicles.' Will was also inspired to write the track after watching the Netflix documentary 13TH, which explores lingering racial inequalities in the United States.
