In late August, U.K. comedian Michael Dapaah went viral with his “Fire in the Booth” freestyle on BBC 1Xtra. After seeing its runaway popularity, he decided to flip the freestyle into an official song titled “Man’s Not Hot.” It uses the beat of 67’s “Let’s Lurk” featuring Giggs, LD, Dimzy, ASAP, Monkey and Liquez which is produced by GottiOnEm and Mazza. His “Fire in the Booth” freestyle was originally conceived as a comedy skit, with Dapaah playing MC Quakez and Big Shaq as characters. Check out the Genius video above that dives deeper into the viral hit.
