Lupe Fiasco is known for his layered rhymes—if you’re not paying attention, he’ll sneak a metaphor or double entendre right by you. On the chorus of “The Adoration Of The Magi,” from his 2015 album Tetsuo & Youth, Lupe encourages the younger generation to aspire to a happy, straight-edged path to prosperity and happiness. Yet as Genius community member @Treflip discovered, Lu simultaneously alludes to classic album covers that feature children, including Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III, Nirvana’s Nevermind, and The Notorious B.I.G.’s Ready To Die.
