“Heavy” is The Stylistics’ fifth studio album and second they released in the year 1974 under Avco Records. The album managed to reach a silver standard certification in the United Kingdom and peaked at #8 in the US charts. This is the first Stylistics album with their new producers Hugo & Luigi and which was arranged by Van McCoy to create the hit of the album “Heavy Fallin’ Out” which peaked at #4 on the charts. Their famous falsetto vocals that earned them an induction in to the Vocal Group Hall of Fame are ever-present on this album, it’s worth checking out as both a fan of the group and a fan of classic 70s R&B/Soul.
