The EBU rules for Eurovision 2021 require new songs. Songwriter Borislav Milanov — who had three songs in Eurovision 2020 — explains why he thinks this decision by the EBU Reference Group is disrespectful to songwriters, who are ultimately the foundation of the contest. He reads statements from composers who worked on 2020 entries from Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Lithuania and beyond. They're involved in an international initiative asking the EBU to allow artists to decide for themselves.
