Ed en Willem Bever zijn twee personages uit de Nederlandse jeugdserie De Fabeltjeskrant. De twee gebroeders kwamen in 1968 in het Grote Dierenbos wonen om daar de vooruitgang te brengen.
De gebroeders Bever spreken met een Rotterdams werkmansaccent. De rol van Willem werd vertolkt door Frans van Dusschoten, die van Ed door Ger Smit.
'Het Stoomlied' bereikte de 5e plaats in de Top 40 op 14 februari 1970.
Dutch Carnaval schlager based on a famous cartoon series 'De Fabeltjeskrant'. This was a top 5 hit in the Dutch Top 40 in February 1970.
