Frank Boudewijn de Groot (Batavia, 20 mei 1944) is a Dutch singer, songwriter, music producer and actor. In 1997 the single Avond was released. This single is seen as one of the best known songs by Boudewijn de Groot. In 2005, following a call from Radio 2 diskjockeys to vote for a different song than Queen's current Bohemian Rhapsody, the song reached number 1 in the Dutch Top 2000.
