Mistral was een studioproject van Robbie van Leeuwen (ex-Shocking Blue en Galaxy Lin) en Rick van der Linden (ex-Ekseption, ex-Trace en de ex van Penney de Jager). Ze speelden synth-pop nog voordat die term bestond. De groep scoorde drie hits: Jamie, Starship 109 en Neon city.
Starship 109 werd ingezongen door Marjan Schattelijn.
De single bereikte de 8e plek in de Nederlandse Top 40 in april 1978.

Mistral was a studio project by Dutch musicians Robbie van Leeuwen (ex-Shocking Blue and Galaxy Lin) and Rick van der Linden (ex-Ekseption, ex-Trace and the ex of Penney de Jager). They played synth pop even before that term existed. The group had three hits: Jamie, Starship 109 and Neon city.
Starship 109 was sung by Marjan Schattelijn.
The single reached 8th place in the Dutch Top 40 in April 1978.
