Welcome to Eurovision This Month! This is your update of June 2020.
The countdown to the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has officially begun! The dates for next years contest were announced at Ahoy in Rotterdam. The Semi-Finals will take place on 18 and 20 May and the final will be held on 22 May.
To ensure that there will be a Eurovision Song Contest in 2021 changes to the rules were made. You can read all about this on eurovision.tv
On 26 June, the movie, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story Of Fire Saga was released on Netflix. The movie features stars like Will Ferrell, Rachel McAdams, Pierce Brosnan, Dan Stevens and Demi Lovato, as well as several surprises including multiple Eurovision stars!
The final weekly edition of Eurovision Again was released on Saturday the 27 June. Eurovision fans from all over the world have been watching older contests for 15 weeks in a row. The shows were viewed over 1.9 million times. Eurovision Again will return on a monthly basis, starting on 18 July.
