For the latest episode of GRAMMY Rewind, we witness rock and roll icons Chuck Berry and Little Richard present Stevie Wonder—and his beaming mother—with the Best Male R&B Vocal Performance GRAMMY for "Superstition."

The groovy track was released by Tamla/Motown in October 1972 as the lead single to Wonder's fifteenth studio album, 'Talking Book.' "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life" followed as the classic album's second and only other single. The former track would also earn win Best R&B Song that year, while latter would win Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. His next album, 'Innervisions,' released less than a year later in August 1973, would round out his 1974 GRAMMY wins with the prestigious Album Of The Year gramophone.
