On this date (October 28) in 2009, David Bazan visited our studio to play songs from his solo album, "Curse Your Branches." At the time, Bazan had been a longtime member of Pedro The Lion — and he continues to be. In January 2019, The Current, together with New Belgium Brewing and the Turf Club, teamed up to host a #MicroShow featuring Pedro The Lion playing songs from "Phoenix," their album from 2019. Watch three songs from that performance.
