Kenny Beats Mentors A-Lex On His Future Genius Song “Activated” | Verified Sessions

Genius partnered with HP to launch Future Genius, which aims to give young, up-and-coming artists the tools and mentorship needed to further their careers. Each artist appeared on an episode of Verified Sessions with an established artist-mentor to break down the meaning behind their song and get advice. Their final songs will be released on the Future Genius EP, which drops December 18 and will stream exclusively on Genius Home Studio.

For the second song, emerging artist A-Lex created an original song using a beat provided by DviousMindZ. He then presented his song “Activated” on our series, Verified Sessions, to break down his track with super producer, Kenny Beats.
