Laura Branigan hosting the special segment dedicated to her on the syndicated show "Record Guide '88" while she is interviewed. The episode focuses on the promotion of her new album "Touch" the new single "Cry Wolf" and her upcoming tour, featuring her new music videos "Cry Wolf" and "Shattered Glass" among them Laura talks, in few words, "a little of everything". Her first steps in her career, her shyness and about how was decisive her first acting experience in high school. After that, about the importance of EMOTION as an unavoidable condition of her songs and as the natural and distinctive attribute of her singing and also mentioned some of her favourite songs. Then, after her change of producer and with that of the course of her career, Laura talks about her direct involvement in the production, arrangements and choice of songs on "Touch" and what it meant to her. Later, Laura recalls her work with William Friedkin shooting of brilliant music video "Self Control" and recounts her personal experience that inspired the mysterious and captivating plot of the video. Among her upcoming activities, she mentions a trip to Australia and one month "Touch Tour" there. Finally, and for me one of the highlights of the interview, when Laura talks about the close relationship she recognizes between singing and acting. (February 1988).
