Another rare video from 1983, while promoting her 2nd album, "Branigan 2". "Best Hit USA" or "ベストヒット USA" was a Japanese TV show hosted by Katsuya Kobayashi, in the section "star of the week", a delighted Laura Branigan proclaims "Sushi is my favorite dish on earth!", she's even able to list her favorites in Japanese!. Interviewer: Laura, you have checked out our sushi here, right?
Laura: Yes
Interviewer: Do you like it?
Laura: It's incredible. It's just, umm. Well, it's my favorite dish on earth.
Interviewer: Well, I understand you're quite an expert on that. You can name them all in Japanese, right?
Laura: Pretty much. The ones I like.
Interviewer: What are some of your favorites?
Laura: My favorites are... I usually start with Clear Soup. Then Takashi, Sashimi Anago, Maguro, Yellow Tail, I like Ikura, but I like... Tonkatsu. No, not Tonkatsu, that's the pork. That's pork, right?
Interviewer: lol Yes
Laura: No, the um the small, small smelt, smelt roe. Ikura, but small eggs. With quail egg, on top. Raw quail egg
