We interviewed Tusse — Sweden's Eurovision 2021 singer — a few days before he won Melodifestivalen 2021, the country's national selection. The "Voices" singer, who was born in Congo-Kinshasa, tells us that is song is about "going from struggle to relief." As a former refugee, he says he understands life on the margins and the sweet taste of succeeding despite the odds. We also discuss his staging (Sacha Jean-Baptiste originally wanted real water!), his unique style, love of jewellery and nail polish and more. Apparently Eurovision winner Charlotte Perrelli is one of his icons.
