23rd Annual Entertainment Law Initiative

The Recording Academy and some of the nation's most prominent entertainment attorneys established the Entertainment Law Initiative to promote discussion and debate about the most compelling legal issues facing the music industry today. It has also grown to include a legal writing competition, awarding law students with up to $10,000 in tuition-based scholarships. Watch this annual GRAMMY Week event, which this year honors the Black Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA) and recognize writing competition runners up Evan Biegel and Alberto Vargas and winner Sophia Sofferman.
