Gaelynn Lea - three performances for MPR

Gaelynn Lea is our Minnesota Music Month featured artist of the day for Friday, April 23. Based in Duluth, Minn., the singer-songwriter and violinist has also contributed educational videos to our sister station, YourClassical MPR. These performances came as part of that series, and include a traditional fiddle tune as well as two Gaelynn Lea originals. Significantly, one of the originals is Lea's song, "Someday We'll Linger in the Sun," a song that brought Gaelynn Lea to national prominence through the 2016 NPR Music Tiny Desk Contest.
